Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of this website.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Clear Electric, LLC website (the "Site"), our online forms, and any communications you have with Clear Electric, LLC ("Clear Electric," "we," "us," or "our") through this Site. By accessing the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About Clear Electric, LLC
Clear Electric, LLC is a licensed and insured electrical contractor based in Watsontown, PA, serving the Susquehanna Valley region. We provide residential, commercial, and light-industrial electrical services including panel upgrades, rewiring, lighting, generator installation, troubleshooting, and new construction wiring.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You will not:
- Misrepresent your identity or contact information.
- Attempt to access non-public areas of the Site, our servers, or technical systems.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) in a way that overloads or disrupts the Site.
- Submit any content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes another person's rights.
3. Estimates, scheduling, and project terms
Requests submitted through the Site are inquiries, not contracts. We will follow up to gather more information and, when appropriate, schedule a site visit or send a written estimate.
- Written estimates control. The final scope, materials, timeline, and pricing for any project are governed by the written estimate, work authorization, or contract we provide for that specific job.
- Site verification. All quotes are subject to on-site verification. Conditions discovered during the work (hidden damage, code violations, undersized service, etc.) may change the scope or price.
- Permits and inspections. Where required, permits are pulled in accordance with local codes. The customer is responsible for granting access for inspections.
- Payment. Payment terms, deposits, and accepted payment methods are stated on each estimate or invoice. Past-due balances may accrue interest as permitted by law.
- Cancellations. Customers may cancel scheduled work in advance; deposits for special-order materials may be non-refundable once ordered.
4. Warranty
Clear Electric warrants its workmanship for the period stated in your written estimate or invoice. Equipment (generators, fixtures, panels, etc.) is covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. The workmanship warranty does not cover damage from misuse, modification by others, power surges, lightning, flooding, rodents, or normal wear and tear. To make a warranty claim, contact us at the phone number or email below.
5. Intellectual property
All Site content — including text, photos, graphics, layout, logos, and the Clear Electric, LLC name — is owned by Clear Electric, LLC or used with permission and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Project photos that include third-party property are shown with the homeowner's or owner's consent.
6. Customer content
If you send us photos, descriptions, or other information about your project, you grant Clear Electric a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to evaluate the work, prepare an estimate, complete the project, and (in anonymized or de-identified form) for portfolio, training, and marketing purposes. You represent that you have the right to share the content you submit.
7. Third-party links and information
The Site may link to third-party websites (Google Maps, manufacturer sites, Facebook, etc.) or display third-party content. We do not control and are not responsible for those sites' content, policies, or practices.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. While we work to keep information accurate, we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that pricing examples, code references, or technical descriptions are current. Always rely on a written estimate and a licensed electrician for project-specific decisions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clear Electric, LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
