Low-voltage landscape lighting, done properly
Low-voltage (12V) landscape lighting is safe to bury, energy-efficient, and lets us aim individual fixtures without trenching like a line-voltage system. We use direct-burial wire properly sized to the run length, and transformers sized with headroom so the lights actually look right at the far end of the loop.
Fixtures are aimed and adjusted at dusk — not at noon — because that's when you'll actually be looking at them.
Security and motion lighting
Motion-activated fixtures at entries, garage doors and dark side yards are one of the cheapest and most effective deterrents a homeowner can install. We mix steady soft lighting (so a yard never goes pitch black) with brighter motion-triggered fixtures to call out activity without lighting up the neighborhood.

Will outdoor lighting survive PA winters?
When it's installed right, yes. We use weather-rated fixtures, gel-filled connectors, and drip loops so freeze/thaw cycles don't take out the system the first season.
Can I control outdoor lights from my phone?
Yes — most systems can be paired with smart timers, photocells or app-based controllers. We'll set up schedules and astronomical (sunset/sunrise) timing during the walkthrough.
